Don was born into the home of a Baptist pastor in 1974. He grew up in the small town of Adrian, Missouri. After graduating from Faith Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa (1996) he served as an associate pastor at Sun Coast Baptist Church (New Port Richey, FL) for 4 ½ years. During this time he met and married his wife Traci in 1999. They moved to Fort Myers, Florida, in 2001 where Don served as Associate Pastor at Daniels Road Baptist Church. Don and Traci arrived at Calvary in November, 2009.

Don and Traci have been blessed by the Lord with two children. Their oldest son, Tylar, was born in 2001 and through the gift of adoption came into the family in 2006. In 2010 their second son, Isaiah, was born into the family. The entire family is greatly enjoying living in rural Michigan and is excited about the opportunity to serve the Lord at Calvary Baptist.
