In today's dollars the Tabernacle cost somewhere between $160 million and $200 million.
The people are bringing much more than enough for the service of the work which Yahweh commanded us to do. So Moses commanded, saying, "let no man or woman any longer do the work for the contribution of the sanctuary." Thus the people were restrained from bringing anymore.
Their generosity was amazing!
Exodus 33:11 ESV
[11] Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses turned again into the camp, his assistant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent.
